Gwalior Fort(09/01/2016):Overlooking the city of Gwalior is the most invincible forts in India .It is built on a hill of sand stone and towers 100 metres from the plain.Tatyia Tope and Rani of Jhansi fought for their freedom.Rani of Jhansi laid down her life in an assault by the British to capture the fought.
Hawa Mahal:Jaipures signature building ,the Hawa Mahal ,multi-layered palce,was built by Sawai Pratap Singh(grand son of Sawai Jai Singh and son of Sawai Madhoo Singh)in 1799 A.D and Lal chand Usta was the architect.hawa Mahal is an interplay of red and pink sand stone.
India Gate:Situated on the banks of river Yamuna,Delhi,India Gate,an important monument of the city ,is a memorial built in commemoration of more than 80,000 Indian soldiers who were killed during World war I.It was designed by architect Edwin Lutyens.
Juma Masjid:Juma Masjid ,Delhi is the countrys largest and perhaps the most magnificent mosque.It stands across the road from Red Fort.The great mosque of Old Delhi is the final architectural extravagance of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
Humayuns Tomb:Humayuns tomb in the capital Delhi is a fine specimen of the Great Mughal architecture .Built in 1570 the tomb is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian sub-continent.

Nalanda:Nalanda,founded in the 5th century AD,is famous as the ancient seat of learning.The ruins of the worlds most ancient university lies here which is 62 km from Bodhgaya and 90km south of Patna.Heun-Tsang stayed here in the 7th century AD and left a detailed description of the excellence of education system and purity of monastic life practiced here.
Brihadisvara Temple:The Brihadisvara Temple ,a splendid example of Chola architecture was built by Emperor Rajaraja(985-1012AD).The long series of epigraphs incised in elegant letters on the plinth all round the gigantic edifice reveals the personality of the Emperor.
